Since the 1940s, the “East End” of Long Island has drawn some of the most renowned artists to its shores. It was home to Pollock, de Kooning, Reinhardt, Brooks, Gottlieb, Lichtenstein, Krasner, and many others whose legacy inspires a whole new generation of talented artists.

After directing galleries in Maryland and Washington, D.C., where most of the major artists from the East End of Long Island participated in exhibitions, Arlene Bujese came to East Hampton where she has maintained the gallery since 1994. Currently, Arlene Bujese features artists of renown, with a strong emphasis on the new generation of contemporary American artists, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, photography, and experimental works. Additionally, Arlene Bujese represents the art of Alfonso Ossorio and serves as the curator for the Ossorio Foundation.
